Miller Lite Draft… In your fridge!
Not quite as cool as having a Keg in your house. The MillerCoors company has announced that they will be selling a Home Draft Box with 1.5 gallons of beer for consumers who want draft taste out of their fridge. For those of you not good a math, there are 128 ounces in a gallon, 192 in 1.5 gallons, which equals exactly 16 12 ounce beers.

I have already heard people complaining about the price. The unit will cost 20$, which is pricey for 16 beers. But then again, each person consuming a single unit will be grounds for a really fucking good time. The boxes go on sale in select cities this fall, and if all goes well we should see them everywhere in a short time there after. The beer stays good for up to 30 days, but I can not myself believe that the beer will not be flat by that time.

I can already hear the stories about how your friend “Joe” drank an entire Coors barrel and tried to hug it out with a police officer wearing nothing but boxers in the New England winter,( at least that’s what our friend Joe would do).
Maybe it is a bit pricey, and maybe people don’t care about the MillerLite “draft” taste. But I for one will be buying many of these just for the novelty and challenge of drinking 4 of them a weekend.
